Duane E. Tron - 2009

Educator

Duane E. Tron '62. Graduating from NHS, Duane served 4 years in the Navy. In 1972 he earned a BA in geography and a comprehensive teaching degree from Wright State U. During his 38 year education career, Duane served as a social studies teacher, football, basketball, and track coach, student advisor, earned his MS in Ed, and was principal at two schools. In 2001, the Springfield Schools appointed him principal of a school for at-risk learners in grades 1-5.
