Community Activists, Eductor

They have lived in Northridge since 1950’s; three children graduated from NHS; Bill helped form the Northridge Amateur Athletic Association, formed a boys’ bowling league, coached boys’ baseball and girls’ softball teams, served three terms on Board of Education. Benge was a long-time substitute teacher, den mother, room mother, member of the PTA’s, member of the Mothers’ Athletic Association (two terms as president), and taught for New Carlisle-Bethel School System 15 years.
