Bill, Joyce Fulton - 2004
Agricultural
This husband and wife team who attended NHS graduated in 1950 & 53 are the founders and operators of Fulton Farms near Tipp City. Bill earned a BS in Agriculture at Ohio State University in 1954. He and Joyce started their present farm with 60 acres in 1958 and built it to 2000 acres by 1977. Bill was a pioneer in the use of plastic mulch, row covers, center-pivot irrigation, and trickle irrigation. Bill has served as president of state and national agricultural associations; they have traveled to other countries to study and/or give advice regarding agricultural techniques. They have numerous awards.
