Derrick Freeman - 2003

Derrick Freeman attended Morrison Elementary, EDMS, and NHS, graduating in 1990. Derrick grew up in ‘the projects’, graduated from DePauw University, where he earned several baseball awards. Derrick helped organize a program at NHS called Focus, which was aimed mainly at helping ‘projects’ kids look to the future with the goal of becoming productive citizens. Currently, Derrick is working for Dayton Public Broadcasting, is an instructor at Sinclair College, and is a youth minister at his church
