John Damewood attended Wilmington College; spent many years as a DJ, known as "John King" on the air; worked his way up to various positions in radio and is currently Senior Vice President of Operations for Regent Broadcasting Management in Covington, KY; honored in 1995 as "General Manager of the Year" by Radio and Records Magazine and by the Country Music Association four times in the 1990's; a two time winner of the "Marconi Award" by the National Association of Broadcasters
