From now until the end of the school year, many Northridge students in grades 3 - 12 will be taking “Field Tests” to prepare for Ohio’s new online assessments. Ohio, in conjunction with the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers, is developing a high quality, 21st century student testing program. The goal of these assessments is to measure student progress toward the state's new academic learning standards in English language arts, mathematics, science and social studies.

Participating in the field test experience will allow students to experience the online testing format and will provide our district with information on how to better prepare students for the actual assessments in 2015.
