School Delays/Closing
During winter months, bad weather can result in school cancellations because of unsafe travel conditions. The Delay/Closing options are as follows:
• ONE-HOUR DELAY - all schedules are adjusted one hour.
• TWO-HOUR DELAY- all schedules are adjusted two hours except: Northridge Preschool will be closed.
• CLOSED- all buildings are closed.
The decision to close and/or delay is usually broadcast by TV or radio by 6:30 a.m. Tune in and be aware. Please do not call schools or board office.
Bus Evacuation Drills: According to the Ohio Pupil Transportation Operation and Safety Rules handbook as stated in section 3301-83-15 paragraph (B). We are required to conduct three emergency exit drills annually. You can review our process by reviewing the photos and training videos on the following pages.
